ps thanks for asking about me, I'm touched.
We all now you're "touched" (and not by an angel)
I am more concerned about the lack of concern from other forum members?
I don't know if I'd say "empty shell". A champion who knows everyone, knows all the tracks & events, knows race cars & is good with words, sounds to me like there would be a comfy chair in any Off Road commentry box with your name on it if you wanted. Just think, put s--t on Jonesy over a P.A.
Just to let everyone know, Aaron's operation went really well & he is now back in room & bored as hell. He doesn't even seem to have much pain (but that could be due to that little button he keeps pressing). He wanted me to thank everyone that has sent messages on this forum and to his mobile. He obviously can't use his mobile in the hospital but I am passing on all messages & am passing on messages from the forum.
Thanks again everyone & I'm sure he will be writing again soon.

Went and saw Az tonight. Once I got past the cafe, spa pool, gym, pretty nurses and the car magazines, I found Az in good spirits, up and about.
The operation went well, (nice scar to impress the ladies), and his recovery since the first couple of days since the op has been good. He is looking forward to going home within the next week, but will be on the serious mend trail for 6 weeks.
He reckons his biggest challenge will be to stay out of the garage when he gets home.
I willl have to take it easy over the next few weeks, but looking forward to a "full recovery", at this stage it would appear a full recovery wont include racing a buggy, but I guess there are other things in life that are just as enjoyable and important...if anyone can shed some light on what they might be please send pm.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the last few weeks, I'm sure the quick recovery is a direct result from your good thoughts.
I spoke to Az today and he is feeling much better even though he has returned to work. We wont see him at Milbrodale but may make his commentary debut at Colo State Round. Sadly he confirmed his retirement from active Off Road competition with the Truggy up for sale and the Navara tow car already gone. I know we all wish him a speedy recovery and a return to the Off Road tracks of NSW although he will probably be travelling a bit slower.
