I can't see that there would be any way that the top cars would be able to do 500km on a tank of fuel. In fact, a fair amount of the field wouldn't be able to.
The race on the weekend was one lap on Saturday afternoon, which was section 1, followed by three laps on Sunday, with a 30 minute break in between each lap, which made up section 2.
If thay put in a 500 L tank in there cars thay will make it. So you could do 1 lap on saturday and get 50% of the points and have to do three laps the sunday to get the other 50% . yes that sound wright to me. Or should it be 25% and 75%. Or 25%25% 25% 25% per lap.??????????
What about the offroader that has a trouble in the race on sunday in the first lap, and get towed back to the pits, but he can fix it and race! But there is no point because you will not get any points. So he gets 25% of the points on saturday and 50% or 25% on the sunday. Then more offroaders might go to national events.
