Looks like the final entry for Gundy is about 63. Pretty well all the usual suspects, plus a few interesting new entries or guys with new cars.
Michael Napier will be running the ex Beau Robinson Mendeola, whilst Joe Bulmer will be racing the other ex Robinson car.
Paul Gilbert is a new one. Guy's from Alice i think, running a brand new Jimco, ran in the 12 Hour out there recently and i think won it outright?
Laurie Svenson is putting the finishing touches to his new car and hopefully will have it all together to make the start line.
There is a good Pro-Lite field of 9 and this will provide some interesting battles. Good to see Damien Penfold get a run at driving the Eveleigh Pro-Lite.
Likewise a good field of 8 in Super 1650.
Surprisingly there is only a very small field in Extreme 2WD. Greg Campbell's got them all scared? Gundy is a great track for the trucks, so i am quite surprised that more haven't entered.
The 4WD classes are well supported with 5 in Production 4WD and 9 in Extreme 4WD.
Looks like there has been a few withdrawls. Sadly the Beau Robinson car has missed the trip from Perth. Charlton in the Super 1650 is also a withdrawl. Geoff Pickering also withdrawn.
This leaves the final list as 62 starters at this stage.

Well, the event has been run and won, and congratulations to Shannon and Ian, and Dave & Andrew for pushing so hard. Shannon had a great drive, overcoming some problems with the car and coming home with the win.
