the final results will be posted as soon as they come to hand hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend and the updates
what a great weekend. i had a ball navigating for kelvin. we where on the pace right to with in 100m of the line where we had no drive we had broken a drive shaft which flew up and cut some of the wiring cage to puts a stop to the engine. the drive shaft was a good 300meters back down the track. everyone was saying that in the last heat we where making up time and it was our quickies laps of the race.
the racing was so excellent as the times where close and it was anyone's race til the end. i think there was about 15sec between all the front runner til the end.
i would like to thank kelvin again for letting me in the car. what a great ride. but next year i will have my car going defiantly.
i would also like to thank my wife jemima for keeping you all updated on the forum today as i didn't really have the time so i think she did a great job.
Another good weekend, good to meet Friz and William! Thanks to the crookwell crew (Allports etc) and land holders for the event. Thanks to Kelvin Hill for the excellent close racing in prolite, bad luck at the end, and to all the other prolites who are making this a great class. Thanks to Simpson for letting? me beat him so easily(at least it looked good), and Slow & Ottey for not even turning-up, guess the nissan V6's are a bit scared....Oh, did I mention a SUBARU won prolite class! Also, Santa gave me an early xmas present....A NON-OVERHEATING ENGINE!!!!!....guess I'll need the bbq to cook my sausages.
And lets not forget one of the important parts of the weekend....'The memories of Ray Vesty'
thanks for the support once again jones yes you drove well bad luck to kelvin i think he had you and it was good to see your motor not overheating so we might not have to put up with any more drible about that ! for me a new motor next year might solve a few problems and yes the nissans were a missin hope we all have a bigger and better year next year
