A BIT OF RECOGNITION/ECU SURVEY

Just thought I would give credit to the team at EMS computors.
I, as well as a lot of NSW competitors have been involved with EMS for years, and just thought that we should support them a bit.
I recently changed back to one of their ECU's and had excellent support from them!

Well done Big Pete, Little Pete, and the crew:)
Also thanks to Chris Dale (buzzard) for his help in the past, if Autronic is your choice, I can highly recommend him!   And Pete Skaza for great dyno work!

Out of interest, whats everyone else using?

  • I had one small internal glitch in our EMS when I first installed it about 5 or so years ago, Pete couldn't do enough to rectify it, organised a last minute tune at Rigoli's that morning, then on it's first test that arvo (a SORRA club round) it performed great, we won outright & it's been like a great 1970's perm ever since. Set and forget.

I run a Haltech E11v2 which was supplied with a fly loom, a wiring diagram and about a six page quick start guide. The computer came with ( thanks to Off Road Rush) the Rush Lexus tune pre installed, I wired it all myself as well as set some required info for thottle position via my laptop, had no dramas at all started very first attempt. Haven't had it retuned or anything, it always starts first go, no matter what the weather, hasn't missed a beat and it goes like a rocket. I haven't needed any assistance from Haltech, But from what I've heard they are more than happy to do what ever they can to help. I had a harder time wiring the Alternator

I have always run Autronic but just bought a ViPEC because it will run E-Throttle and the Autronic won't.

Ray Hall started ViPEC after he fell out with Autronic and customer support is very good.

I bought an older second hand Haltech E6K approx 2 years ago, I was actually disappointed with the apparent lack of interest Haltech showed when I called them trying to spend money to buy a new loom & sensors. Felt like an outcast because I didnt buy new.
