Take a CLASS 4 "A" arm car with a 6 litre engine. Then reverse the engine and gearbox and put it in the back what do you get. A bloody tough class "1" They would have to be joking right??? how about we get rid of all classes exept buggies .
4.11 Class 4 Engine / Transmission Layout
The Chairman asked each of the State delegates for their Panels’ response to
the proposed change to SRs’ 4.4 and 4.10.
It was noted that Queensland and Victoria are supportive of the changes but at
this stage the others have not considered it, mostly due to the timing of their
meetings at the commencement of the year.
AORCom looks forward to comments in regard to this item, which it envisages
would be adopted for the 2006 Manual of Motor Sport.
Yes, I think that my car is more compatible with a class 1 car than a stadium truck. Stadium trucks and bajas have nothing in common, but buggies on the other hand have evolved from the basic dak dak to what they are and I think that most buggies still run the same or similar running gear as my car.

I was also planning to build a new car this year and thought it would be smart to start the year in class 1 so any points that i might have got would go to the same class of the new car. But due to lots of work and no spare time I'm still waiting to start on it. So the old Baja will just have go a few more laps.
