Thanks Ian, I was under the impression the book was no longer available, and I hadn't noticed the option with a licence renewal, but I will definately get one next year!
Meanwhile, I am just having trouble welding upsidedown trying to lower my floor rail....lol!
I saw at least four cars at Sea Lake with non compliant or no roof support bar. Don't know what's going on. I would have thought that if installing this bar was a safety requirement then you would not be able to run without it. It really makes a joke of the whole rule if people are able to compete in what AORCom has decided is an "unsafe" car.
IAN (Heyu) Yes you can buy a manual, maybe this will save you the money though, because it says
OFF ROAD
>SEE WWW.CAMSMANUAL.COM.AU
I refer you to the GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OFF ROAD VEHICLES Mainly PAGE 5 and 8 The old rules said that a roof length has to be over 700mm. This has been crossed out from Jan 2010 which means ALL have to have a minimum 25mm X 1.6 Roof Reinforcement.
Mauri, I found out the availability & price for the guys who don't read it now so when they get the book they won't read it then. Is that right Jonesey
