what happens for twin turbo?

eg, 3.5litre + 3.4= 6.9 litres.

isn't that over 6litre?

It only mutiplys once so it does not matter how many tubos or supercharges you have,that is why there is twin turbos.

Yep, if you wanted to, you could have a turbo for every cylinder and you still use the 1.7 multiplication. Of course, how you would fit them in I am not quite sure....
