PRO-LITE ENGINE WANTED

Need a new engine, preferably all aluminium construction, possibly V6 or V8.

Capable of 395 hp at the wheels, must run points ignition suitable for GT40 oil filled coil. Suitable dishwashing glove over distributor cap would be appreciated for wet conditions. Prefer downdraft stromberg fuel system, will accept X2 HR holden type carby with manual fuel pressure regulator inline. (dont want any complicated webers or holleys). Solid lifters and lumpy cam might be an advantage. High volume oil pump and solid harmonic balancer is a necessity. Please supply new white metal bearings and suitable scraper to adjust oil clearance.  Would like to run in combination with standard 1600 combi gearbox and datsun 1600 driveshafts. Gearbox is ratio'd for 275km/h. Thinking of running E85 for environmental reasons, so hardened valve seats could be good!

Please contact--Simpson, Martin, Aztek, Revin, 2204, and any other desperate pro-lite're
