VQ35DE Coil on plug - built in ignitors?

Hi all, can anyone tell me if the standard COPs on a VQ35DE have built in ignitors like GenIII, or do I need to buy external ones (or cheaper, GenIII ones...)

As far as I know, they have inbuilt ones, I think in general if the coil has 3 wires, then they have built in ignitors.

i know the vq30 are built in,and i was told the same thing 3 wires tis good

Garry if you want to give Kevin Ottey a call 62381307 B/H he went through all this when he put his VQ35 in. I think from memory the ignitors are built into the leads but he would know for sure.

Yes coils do have built in ignitors garry
