CHENOWTH UPPER 2-PEICE CONTROL ARMS?

Just wondering if anyone has seen or used similar control arms as below?

Chenowth suggest they have been using these bolt together top arms for several years on pre-runners and milleniums.

I am thinking of welding and gusseting them similar to my old (blue) arms, as I am not sure if they are strong enough?

I am fairly sure the arms on Shannon Rentsh's car were the bolt together ones, and they never seemed to have problems.
I guess you just have to stay on top of replacing the bolt when needed.

Jonesy, my thoughts are that the bolt will allow geometry changes that you will not have now. If you want to brace it, I would add the extra brace but with a rose joint to still allow adjustment.  If not, fit it to your preferred wheel alignment and then weld her up.

Cheers

I have been told they will be o.k., so I will give them a go.
Adam, still trying to work out how to measure my caster adjustment......thats the next challenge!
Guess I will need to make a dummy stub axle type thingy?
