Yeh it is. I was still competitve in the state level (kind of haha) but the V8 just doesn't suit my driving style or my budget. I am more of a revvy overhead cam sort of guy and the Nissan Engine is just too much fun to say no too.
My car had a bad misfire and no power on prologue and we couldn't get it fixed for the race. Being that the race was so important to me I was lucky that my Dad was great enough to offer me his car for the Sunday. We had a problem with the wiring so it wouldn't restart after out fuel stop and then I ripped the floor off it on lap 5. So a bad weekend for me...
