i seen adam and kevin at the 20km mark and they said the clutch was gone furious

Yea that is correct we had a slipping clutch but it only was happen when it got hot.

Tine I learnt my lesson the first time ( Dont drop the clutch) as it cost me a lot of money.

 

Come to think of it know I have having a lot of trouble with the clutch in that car

Hi Adam,
Nothing worse than a slipping crutch mate, looked out for ya but you didnt make it to Rodinga Check point (98km).
I hate to rub salt into wounds but your old 1650 got there and back last year, although at somewhat slower speeds
Remember dont drop the CLUTCH !!!
You will be back this race is addictive!!!

Yea that is rubbing salt in to the wounds just a bit jokes its ok

The mighty 1650 was a good buggy I am glad to see you have been so successful with it.

 

I was trying to keep any eye out for you at scrutineering just to say hi and see how things were going.

 

I will be back there in a couple of years cant say I did the finke desert race with only doing 45km
