Its good to see some prize money at events, but maybe it might have been more enticing if there was a prize in each class instead of outright winners. Alice Springs is a long way to go, 12 hours is a lot of wear an tear, and i still love to do it, but to run in the hope that my class 2 is gonna get me back some prize money isnt gonna happen! Sounds good for 1st, 2nd and 3rd tho. If you were just a bit closer...i'd come an watch. 12hrs of offroad, yehaa. Goodluck with the event.
I am running my class 2 (adam olertons old one)and teamed up with a performance 2wd, you never know if all the big boys break or have problems, last year we were 5 laps down after 12 hours against the big boys and the year before 3 laps down and 5th overall.
When i say 12 hours you have a team mate that shears the racing, last year we did 7 45km laps straight as my team mate had problems, just got to keep one buggy circulating for 12 hours, but one buggy can do know more than 70% of the laps,and you can change drivers to keep going.
would be good to watch if i didnt ever enter it for sure,
