will do the same job that is how i ran my 4age with coil packs just took out the rotor button and used as a cas and they are heaps cheaper. also have to disconect one wire inside the dizzy so you just have a tdc postions not two or some thing like that it was 2 years ago since i did it.

We ran the dizzy on the 4age without the rotor button in it with 2 bosch coilpacks and only used the sensors in the dizzy for ref/sync for an EMS duelsport. If the dizzy you have fits and is complete then it should work. :)

Thanks Very Much All for all the info guys...

So far we have figured out that we need the Distributor/Crank angle sensor that has both the 24 tooth wheel pick up and the Single tooth pickup.

Dont think that every 4AGE has that style. Think only the 4AGZE and the 4AGE Small Port. But not sure...

But the 4AGZE came out with both a disributor style and just a plain CAS style. But both have all the same sensors.

Cheers,
Laurence

Won't the Mitubishi one talk to the Motec?

We used to have to put Mitsubishi internals into the 20 valve dizzy because they were hall effect sensors and would talk to the Autronic whereas the Toyota Sensors wouldn't.

Hey mate, found a 4ag one buried in the shed - same internals, but we had a dizzycap as a cap, not the metal cap from the ZE. Not sure if it works or not...

Let me know if you want it, call me on o4o3 385 9o2.

Hi, All...

Sorry been abit slack.
Thanks for the help and info guys. All sorted sorced one. And machining is done and the CAS is in.
And yes the Mitsubishi one did talk to the Motec. But we were having some drammas. I believe. Not sure. But I think the main reason for using the 4agze CAS was that they wanted to use both stets of triggers.
I didnt get to far into that bit. Ill find out though.

Thanks again,
Laurence
