SORRA Rd 3, 16 & 17 June, sup-regs.


Here's the main bits, the rest should be attatched if i've done it right.

 

Saturday: Paperwork and scrutineering   12pm to 1.30pm

  Drivers Briefing    2pm
  Reconnaissance    2.30pm
  Heat 1 (3 Laps)    3.00pm
  
  Mini Buggies (3 Laps Mini buggy area) on completion of Heat 1

  Heat 2 (3 Laps)    After dark (approx 6pm)
  Heat 3 (3 Laps)    Immediately after Heat 2
  At Clerk of Courses discretion depending on conditions.  

  DINNER Please order your dinner before racing starts.


Sunday: Reconnaissance    7.30am  


  Drivers Briefing     8.30am

  Mini Buggies (3 laps Mini Buggy area) on completion of Drivers Briefing

  Heat 4(5 laps)      On completion of Mini Buggies
  Slowest group first.

  Mini buggies (3 laps Mini Buggy area) On completion of Group 1

  Heat 5 (5 Laps)     On completion of Mini Buggies
  Fastest group      

  Heat 6 (5 Laps)    On completion of Heat 5
  Slowest group

  LUNCH      1 Hour
 
  Heat 6 (5 laps) cont.    On completion of lunch.
  Fastest Group

  PRESENTATION    

STARTS will be either single or dual starts with a maximum of 10 rows of 2 cars at a minimum of 30 seconds apart. 

Mini-Buggies will start one at a time with a maximum number of 6 cars in a heat.  Mini-Buggy drivers are reminded that their runs are strictly non-competitive and will not be timed.

PLESE NOTE:   If you are late arriving and miss the window for scrutineering, you will be scrutineered after the commencement of the event when the Chief Scrutineer is available, but you may not commence the event until scrutiny of your vehicle has been completed, including Reconnaissance.  YOU MUST STILL ATTEND DRIVERS BRIEFING.

!6/17th Day/Nighter at COLO PARK . Shame there is not more dates to pick from, even after setting calendar last year. there is still clashes, Dam!
Looks like a good roll up so far . Mini Buggies, Polaris' and some first timers cheching out the Night racing. We still need a hand with officialling, so if your able we would love to have your there to help. We'll feed you even,How's that.

And there is a working be this Sunday 3rd June from 8.30am on.

got to make things ( signs & arrows ) pretty, fix PA , track work ect.

yeah just putting finaly tweaks on it now, but yeah pretty happy made 154hp at wheels not bad from a stock 2ltr :)lets just hope it is reliable.

Can do scrutineering for you on Sunday. Hopefully we'll see you on Sunday
The Polaris buggies that are coming will be racing with the bigger cars. These Polaris's are built to the CAMS specs for Off Road not mini Buggy.
But it would be a good oportunity to have a look at what they have done.
The mini buggies and Mini truck will have there own slot.
There is also another Polaris owner coming up too. And I told him to bring theirs with them to have a look & a run .

will the polaris buggies be driving with the mini buggies or do they have their own slot? Can scrutineering also be done on Sunday morning as I won't be able to make Saturday....not even too sure about sunday yet.

To help make sence of the times,

Race's 1 & 2 were 3 Laps. Race's 3, 4 & 5 were 2 Laps, & 6 was 5 Laps.

Will send those who put e-mails on their entry forms all the individual lap times soon.

A big thank you to all the people that made it all happen.
Everyone at the working bees, and the recovery ,and all the Officials, and our Canteen groupies. Shelly, Stan, Bob, Rob ,Barbara .
The conditions weren't the best, but you all made the best of it to make it a great weekend .

good stuff, not bad results for my self, being second time in the car.. pretty happy with my self, just wish i didnt come in early on the first race of the day.

Its very rare that you see Wazza getting passed by 1 let alone 2 cars on lap 1 of a race around Colo. All that horsepower and nowhere to put it.
