Brake lines.

Do brake lines, the flexible ones to the calipers have to be to a similar spec to ADR? I work for Pirtek and can make teflon hoses for days. But that won't mean anything if I can't use them. Thanks in advance.

pritty sure most guys are running -3 teflon braided hoses ,

But they don't need to be tested or certified by a brake Place? If not I'll be rigging up some lines

hi, no they dont as far as im aware. that only complies for road registered vehicles. ie australian design rules.

I was mainly thinking something along those lines as to keep people from making a jalopy set up that might fail. Screw it, I'll see how I go

You'd be mad not to pressure test them though, only takes a minute on a brakequip machine.
