Doing pipe work on my buggy getting rid of some old rusted tube, i was reading the cams manual and states that the rear lonaitudinal rear arms are to made of the same material as the main hoop, refer figure i cant remember. That figure refers to fuel tank protection. As any body got any information that could lend.
My main hoops is 44mm tube, does that mean i have to make the legs out of 44mm? or does it mean that becuase the main hoop can be made out of 38mm or 44mm i can use either?
It's a simple question no need to be nasty if you don't know the answer no need to comment just cause he typed pipe doesn't mean he's using it we all know they r different as long as he's using the right stuff what's it matter?

Didnt mean it to come across as rude but that is certainly how it ended up. His use of words gave the impression he was inexperienced and inexperienced people should always check with a scrutineer prior to structural changes to save having to redo anything. Our rule book isnt the easiest to understand and flat out contradicts itself in a few places. I've been told to do things that arent even IN the rule book for my class, even the specialists get confused at times and he will be the man telling you to put it back on the trailer if he isnt satisfied at the end of the day.
