Photo shows front uprights (which are same as truck) and steering arms.

Uprights still need caliper mounts welded on before all suspension parts are heat treated to stress relieve them.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately but will now be back on track.

Have the g/box mounted and engine is bolted up with adaptor plate.

Now the long process of deciding what bits to use and where to put them.

As usual Garry I am overwhelmed with your outrageous generosity!!!

Back to you.

Luv yu work! That should be worth a discount next time.

Also finally got the intake manifold which now allows me to do air cleaner and spare wheel mount.

Powersteer pump all mounted. A big thanks to Luke Erceg and Matt Ridley for all his help and info.

Finding a belt the right length was to easy as well which is usually not the case.

Finally got some bits to push on a little further and there are more on the way so hopefully there will be no more major stoppages.

Have got all the aluminium panels done. All laser cut to shape of course.

There are panels not shown between gearbox and fuel tank position. Will post soon.

Steering wheel position is adjustable as usual with all of ID Designs racecars.

When seat mounts get here there will be lots to do- pedals/shifter/fuel tank etc.

Chuffed, and never would have thought, that the 2GR-FE power steering pump mount that I designed and created the cutting file for on my last buggy build has gone national. Oh and it was my and James Lochert's third attempt at getting the 6PK2080 belt length on a 5.375pulley right on his buggy.

Matt Ridley.

Hi Matt

Bracket fitted up perfectly with no problems. As you can see we are using the 6.5" pulley and found the perfect belt first go.

Thanks

Gavin

Have done a fair bit with lots more to do but now have parts to keep going.

Body and shocks are on their way from the States as we speak.

More coming soon

The only thing better about the Nissan is price for obvious reasons.

Finally got my arse into gear and it's all just for you Kelvin!

Actually most of the problem was my laptop fried it's self and me being a dumb shit hadn't backed anything up and i lost a lot of stuff that i needed to keep. Lesson learn't big time!!

I have got a fair bit done since the last photo's.

All the plumbing has been done except for brake lines to wheels.

Engine bay and gearbox etc are finished except for wiring. Fuel tank is done and in. Gear shifter and pedal box finished.

Drivers dash area and nav dash pod done. Ecu and pdm are under dash pod.

Front end is all heat treated and machined and will be in next week.

Body panels arrive next week as well.

Don't die with shock but yes it is up and running!!!

Tried to upload video proof but failed badly.

Would have been great to run at Milbrodale but missed the close of entries.

Will definitely be at Griffith with some test miles under the belt.

Will put up some more photo's soon.

Gavin

Must be hard for you Gav, a bit like an ugly child, it's yours and you've gotta love it, and you'd be thinking it'll never be as good as a truck, sorry cause you are a truck guy. It is a good looking buggy, Spiz must be one very happy man,

Looking forward to seeing racing again this year.
It was impressive at COLO's last race last year.
Just seems to float through the air off jumps.
