hi guys I need some help , un5 gearbox vw bellhousing 1uzfe engine . brought flywheel from morrie at trikk , clutch and pressure plate from rivmaster . clutch is a 6 plate paddle , pressure plate is a kennedy 3500 pound . the problem is I can move the clutch fork up to the pressure plate but not move it anymore the disengage the clutch it is solid even with a bar it wont budge any help cheers shane

It sounds like your fork is over traveling. Look through an inspection opening and check the distance between the thrust bearing and the pressure plate. As far as I can remember the clearance should be no more than 6mm when the thrust bearing is in the rear position. Another way to check is to place a ruler across the pressure plate fingers or thrust ring if fitted. Measure the distance from the adapter plate (bell housing holes) to the closest edge of the ruler. Now place the ruler across the front of the bell housing and measure the distance from the inside edge of the ruler to the thrust bearing (ensure that the bearing is in the rear position). Subtract the first measurement from the second measurement. The measurement you have is the clearance measurement.
Also check your pressure plate fingers are not bending inwards, they should bet slightly past vertical facing out for best pressure, I had this problem so spaced out to give correct finger height no problems. Also on the thrust brg check to see if you need the spacer that is supplied clipped on it or do you need to remove it this will make a difference for travel.
cheers Ian just got up from night shift and checked . it seems that I have about 25mm before it touches the fingers will make a new mount today as the mounts that cam with the box have run out of adjustment thanks for the reply
Before you make up a new mount, bolt up the pressure plate to the flywheel WITHOUT the clutch plate then check the clearance between the fingers and release bearing, minimum clearance should be at least at least 1mm, make your bearing mount to achieve this distance with the bearing fully retracted.
It may simply be that with the high clamping force you have in the pressure plate that the force you are applying even with the extended lever is insufficient to move the fingers.
thanks for all the information guys . I lengthened the arm off the gearbox adjusted all the movement on the thrust bearing and finally have a clutch still a bit heavy but we have a clutch cheers guys for all your help ,
