It sounds like your fork is over traveling. Look through an inspection opening and check the distance between the thrust bearing and the pressure plate. As far as I can remember the clearance should be no more than 6mm when the thrust bearing is in the rear position. Another way to check is to place a ruler across the pressure plate fingers or thrust ring if fitted. Measure the distance from the adapter plate (bell housing holes) to the closest edge of the ruler. Now place the ruler across the front of the bell housing and measure the distance from the inside edge of the ruler to the thrust bearing (ensure that the bearing is in the rear position). Subtract the first measurement from the second measurement. The measurement you have is the clearance measurement.

Any probs ring me.

Also check your pressure plate fingers are not bending inwards, they should bet slightly past vertical facing out for best pressure, I had this problem so spaced out to give correct finger height no problems. Also on the thrust brg check to see if you need the spacer that is supplied clipped on it or do you need to remove it this will make a difference for travel.

Before you make up a new mount, bolt up the pressure plate to the flywheel WITHOUT the clutch plate then check the clearance between the fingers and release bearing, minimum clearance should be at least at least 1mm, make your bearing mount to achieve this distance with the bearing fully retracted.

It may simply be that with the high clamping force you have in the pressure plate that the force you are applying even with the extended lever is insufficient to move the fingers.
