Ardlethan will host a TK round on the 20th and 21st of september. Run in conjunction with the Ardlethan Agricultural Show.
This will be a brand new track, built from scratch. Providing great camping and spectating for families of this new sport.
It was decided to build the track at the Ardlethan Showgrounds, which as with most small agriculture shows, is struggling to continue. The TK idea was presented, and the community support has been overwhelming, with the whole town behind it.
We aim to have 3 races a year, 2 major, and 1 club/come and try event.
TKs popularity is growing extremely fast, but NSW tracks are limited at present, we hope that more NSW racers can have more access to racing.
Currently we have karts coming from Adelaide, Pt Pirie, Broken Hill, and Newcastle, with an expected field of around 20 juniors and seniors.
Unfortunately the date clashes with Warialda NSW state Off-Road event, so we have lost approx 6 karts to buggy teams competing up there.
Trophykart Adlethan will also see the introduction of the new class structure, with an extra junior class added. We will have the brand new 'JUNIOR MOD' (16hp 200cc JR1 style)....RS250 (RS200 now upgraded to 24hp 250cc watercooled) and the adults RS450 (52hp 450cc 16 years and up)
A new shipment should arrive from USA in time for the event, which most are already pre-sold, bringing the total karts in Australia to approx 60. Rick Bramley of Trophykart Australia can be contacted if interested on 0457 852 787
