Buggy and Car show

Oakville Volanteer Fire Brigade is having a display of all types of vehicles and I(Ian Irons) & Steve Taylor, being members of the brigade and SORRA, volanteered our cars and said we would chase up a heap of cars for the display.
SO, if it at all possible for any of you guys with buggies, truggies, bajas, trucks, tricyles to bring them out to put on display for the day it will give your sponsers and the club some publicity. You will be fed & watered, all it will cost you is a little bit of your time.

The display is taking place at the Piitt Town Sporting Club in conjunction with the drawing of a raffle and an Auction for a host of goods and services and prizes that have been donated by nice people to raise some funds for our local Brigade. Some of the things to be auctioned off are pretty amazing, hot laps in a Porsche cup car being just one of them.

The display will be probably the biggest showing of local vehicles of all types in the Hawksbury area, when we say all types we mean it,even down or up to,a buick with wooden spoked wheels,V12 E type, hot rods ,older model Holdens and Fords.Motor bikes of all sorts size and models, vintage bikes & sidecars

We want to make a big impression with our cars, thats why we need as many of you as possible to bring your vehicles alobg to this day ,The local papers have featured our sport ,before and after our last 3 events and will more than likley be present at this day as well.

SO GET AMONGST IT HAVE YOURS OUT THERE ON THE DAY
Wot,Oh! the DAte is the 26th of March from 11am ,if you can get there a little earlier it would be good.
If you need more info or you can be there let me know, Ring me 45774348

If your going down to Crookwell next weekend come and talk to me about the car show at Pitt Town. Thanks to the guys who have offered thier cars already, its going to be a good show with some very interesting machinery turning up, How about a V12 Ferarri 4 seat sedan,a 1908 Cadilac single cylinder,Some hot rods,Corvettes, Porsches(Race & street)Albion truck, vintage bus's(which will be taking people for rides) Mustangs, early holdens,4X4s ,T Models,E types Ect, Ect.
We want to make a good showing of our Buggies to impress the local papers who are sending photograghers down to cover the event, they are already running lead stories for the show With Grant Walker and Jeff Cripps lined up for interview & pics about thier placings in the 2005 NSW Championship.
This is a perfect opportunity for giving sponsers a fair go for thier money.
So don't be shy, we need as many buggies as we can get,Specially since I told them it would be a good idea to put a car show on ,and they said ,good idea,do you want to be on the committee, see ,it doesn't matter what you do,So I NEED YOU TO HELP ME MAKE IT ALL WORK(I might need a bit of a hand on the day)
Its sorta grown like topsy and considering ,its just about all local cars and bikes & stuff it looks like the place to be on the 26th March 2006
