20 years of great racing in Crookwell comes to an end

The Crookwell Off Road Club has been advised that the land on which the Gravel Pit Challenge and the Ray Vestey Memorial Christmas Cup are held, will be leased for specific farming purposes for an indefinite period of time starting this year (2016).
The Club will therefore not be holding any more race meetings at this venue. The Crookwell Off Road Club will continue on as normal even though we no longer have an event venue.

The organising committee would like to thank the land holders Les and Marilyn Storrier for their continued support and generosity over the last 20 years.
To all the people that have volunteered their time and money over the past 20 years, the event sponsors, race committee, recovery crews, canteen people, pit gate attendants, competitors and anyone else that Ive forgotten to mention Thank you very much for your continual support. I hope you enjoyed our events and visiting Crookwell and surrounds.
Just remember the Crookwell Off Road Club is still operational even though we dont have a race venue at this stage.
Been great racing and comentating down there over the years.
Someone once told me that 10 years was a long time in motor racing, so in that context, I guess we were very lucky to have been part of a great era and venue at Storiers Quarry.
Gunna miss seeing some of the helpers at Crookwell. Good to see the the Crookwell club itself is still carrying on. We'll catch up soon
