There is always atleast one smart arse out there and this time it is you Garry. It does leave the pocket quite often but it is never far away. Thanks for being so observant.

Finally have body and starting to sort out mounts etc. Quality is what you would expect from one of the best in the states. MPD or Mike McQueen did the work and the moulds will be leaving the states soon. All panels will then be produced here using McQueens strict instructions and ingrediants. Will put up more photo's soon.
Not a silly question at all. Have been trying to think of the perfect name for it but as yet no luck. I think it will just be known as a Micklefab TT at this stage. If an owner wants to sticker it so it looks like a known brand that's fine. The body is a bit of a hybrid so has no specific DNA to any brand. The headlight shape is about the only thing that could be said to resemble anything and the Ford Raptor isn't readily available here as yet. If you think of a suitable name for it let me know Steve. Thanks.

Thanks Dean. Getting close now but more delays with christmas/new year etc. Would just like to say a big thankyou to all those who are keeping an eye on this project and here's hoping a lot of them are potential customers as well. Have started to get a few enquires from people regarding certian parts etc which is good. Remember that nearly all parts of this truck will be able to be sold separately in the near future. Would also like to wish all those visiting this build-ups page a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hope to see you all at the races next year. Thanks for your interest and support. Gavin
A few aero bits have been included. Front valance (plastic strip) is to push air under truck keeping it from going under the bonnet. Side lexan window for better air flow past the window opening. All been tested in wind tunnel so i'm told.

is that the airflow on the inside or the outside of the side window that flows better
I would think it would be the outside as the lexan is on the outside making a smooth surface past the A pillar and support bar. There are other advantages but i will keep them to myself until i can confirm them whilst testing. Do i get a pass for the answer Shauno?
sounds like it could be , but the other advantage could be if you were having a sandwich and you hit a big jump it would stop the sandwich falling out the window, incar replenishment system problem solved.
All radiator ducting finished and bolted in for good. Light and horn mounts painted and bolted on. Made simple fire extinguisher mounts and will have another mounted in cab also. Should have springs next week and wiring is about to happen.
Have had a few delays which has been very frustrating when it is so close to being finished. Character building they say!
Have just received coil springs and they have been fitted and seem to be spot on with giving us the ride height required. Hope computer drama and wiring will be sorted next week as that is all it needs now to make beautiful music.
Looks like we have finally sorted out computer problem. Motec is ordered and truck will be at electricians this week. Dash pod is done in carbon and looks great. Aluminum bits will be black. Hope to be testing soon, if only it would stop raining. Second chassis is being painted this wednesday and then it can be bolted together. First truck is planning on being at Warialda for it's first race.
Finally first truck is out of the shed and at the electricians getting wired. Computer dilemma sorted with a motec M84 ecu now being used as the one that was suppleid with engine package was to much of a problem. Also using the smaller motec PDM and dash. Should be ready for a start late next week.
Second truck chassis is back from painters with it's coat of KTM orange. It will not get lost in the dark. We can now start putting it together. Won't take to long as nearly everything has been done before it was painted.
