hi all, having a go a building my own 1650 buggy and just after some ideas for mountin 2lt kombi box. i have it mounted now like in the beetles the two bolts on the gear selector and supports around the bellhousing this does not look strong enough to go racing with the little support just after some idea...

Just trying to work out how makes buggy frames in Australia, and peoples opinions of each one. Southern Cross- Cheap and work alright RV2- Beautiful cars, but may be a tad under engineered? Who else, looking for a 2 seat frame, lightweight etc etc.?

i'm looking for a supplier for toyota 4 age 20 valve, lifter shims , ( used to adjust the valve clearance's ) toyota wasn't any help , even when i supplied the part no's .

Are helmets marked Snell SA2005 current and if not what are they supposed to be marked.

Just replaced my window nets this week as my old ones were looking a bit worn. As I pulled them out of the packet I noticed - IN COMPLETE HORROR - an SFI date stamp on it.....NNNNNNOOOOooooooo!!!!

Now that CAMS is too miserable to send out manuals, and it takes too long to find the right info via the website....what is the rulings on fire extinguisher dates? I know they need tagging every year, but what was the pressure vessel life CAMS require?
